What camera and lenses do you use for that, Foodguy? I've been wanting to go the same route, myself.

I use a Leaf on a sliding back though I believe there are adaptors to mount DSLR's as well as a few other Cambo options for using DSLR's with camera shifts.

When I made the switch to digital, I sold off my 4x5 and 8X10 cameras but kept my film lenses to see how't they'd work in the digital world, as the out of pocket for the back/camera was already significant.

Ended up selling my 210mm and 360mm as they were simply too long (for me) for the sensor size and kept the 90, 135, and 150. I rarely use the 90 as it's a wide angle design and float between the other 2, depending...and truthfully could easily live with either. I prefer slightly long lenses for the pictures I take and would love to find a reasonably priced ~100mm F 4ish lens simply to try...but haven't yet found one.

The 1.4TC does fit on the 24mm MKII, I prefer that focal length over the 24mm honestly!

Ask yourself, if you had a TSE 17mm lens and a TC 1.4 and they fit , wouldn't you have to try it out a couple of times ?

When you first start using a Tilt Shift lens, things slow way down, but he more you use it, the faster and more confident you get. After awhile, it becomes second nature.

Most likely packing my 24 TS-E II and Travel Tripod along with my Greek Trilogy tonight for trip to Lisbon, Madrid and Barcelona.

I have an old Ektar 105mm that came off a long gone Baby Crown Graphic. It's only single coated so contrast is on the gentle side and flare can be a problem, but it is quite good for it's era (50s). I also have a 152mm Ektar that came from a full sized Crown that has similar properties.

Seems odd to use such a lens on a digital back and I haven't done it, but it might be worth a try. Those old Ektars were pretty good lenses.

They were good for the large area of film that they were designed to cover & the small amount magnification needed for prints, but were not even close to the resolving power of a lens designed for 35mm film, so you might be disappointed.

I have a Nikkor W 105mm that I picked up used from KEH that is actually pretty good on 35mm. I use it and a Nikkor 210mm on my Cambo.

Surprising how good some of these old lenses can be.
