I suddenly got logged out when I arrived at this page in Competitions: https://photography-on-the.net …ead.php?t=1355520&page=52

Seeing ads was a surprise. I'd been on POTN for several minutes.

If you're seeing ads then you have something on your browser. No ads here.

Log out Bill, then check out the website. You'll see the ads.

So why are you guys logging out anyway? Are you using a public computer? I haven't logged out in years. I suppose that I could find my my password stored on Firefox, but no thanks. I'll take your word about the ads.

Having issues after upgrading to windows 10 with IE, no matter what I do always get cookie issues. Using firefox now. The only way I could get back on.

(more for information than issue with AMASS)

EDIT

Issue gone with latest windows 10 build 10074 :)

I saw that pop-up, but just ignored it since it was obviously in error. My avatar was still at the top of the page so I just went back to the TOC page for this forum and reloaded this thread and no more pop-up.

It is either a bug or a hack to steal passwords.

It is just a bug in the browser or php. The response from AMASS is correct. Without a login cookie read it goes to guest mode, and a cookie for guest session must be read in order to proceed with login or registration. As a reload fixes the situation it proves the cookie was never deleted.

I don't and didn't log out. I was involuntarily logged out. I posted last night to report that event.

See Pekka's post above your post. It is a browser bug and it appears that you could have just reloaded the page and all would be well. Are you still seeing ads? I am fairly certain that is a browser issue also.

I logged back in immediately and the ads stopped.

The ads are there for guests only. When you are logged out, voluntarily or otherwise, the system will assume that you are a guest and you will see the ads. It is not a bug.

I ran the crawler in your image a minute ago, it reports all is good in your image/post.
Perhaps check the saved exif to see if something is missing there, or save the exif again ...

Resaved the exif data, same result, the full error message (hard to copy with an iPhone) is

Oops! Error error 1B-91-17528131 http://1.1.1.4 …sher%20A_15-04-12_001.jpg (external link) occurred, sorry. Please try again later.

The URL is odd - this has 1.1.1.4/bmi/ Pretended to the actual URL in the IMG tags. Don't know if this is normal for the internals of AMASS.
