A pair of Bald Eagles right in my home area (warning: a big crop)

It is a little frustrating as last week I had rented a 150-600mm lens, but didn't know about this pair nesting so close to me until today. My husband would kill me if I rented the lens again, and I am also not familiar with how close they stay to their nest, if I rent the lens again I want to make damn sure they will be there at least one of the days I try.

Good find regarding the nest. Now you can keep an eye on it from a safe distance.

Yep, the field between the road I was on and their nest is about half a mile wide....maybe more. I will definitely need to rent that lens again, my 18-270mm just doesn't do it.
