Based on the tag on his leg, I think I've shot this Red-tailed hawk before. He is very patient and tolerates me moving around pointing a big lens at him. He likes to hunt the field in front of the house and moves between several perches, including the chimney and telephone poles across the street. In this shot he was attacking a mole in the field, I missed the better shot of him capturing his prey. Crossing from right to left was pretty easy to capture, instead of the head-on shot.
