Hi,

BH has the Hoya 77mm NDx400 HMC Filter Hoya 77mm NDx400 HMC Filter for $44.95. Not only that, it comes with a nice cleaning cloth! I believe this filter is multi-coated, and as far as I know all other multi-coated high-stop ND filters cost ~$200 (see the B+W version). This is an incredible deal:

Warning: Just want to let you know though, I have purchased these before for regular price and checked out 2-3 copies. They all had problems. Either the filtering was uneven or it had scratches in the coating. So, make sure you check yours out thoroughly under a bright lamp to make sure there are no defects. I returned all 3 and never purchased more. But at this price it's worth it for me to try again.

As of this time you have 10.4hr left to buy.

Enjoy!

I bought a 82mm Hoya CPL last week as part of the deal of the day. The filter looked just fine but there were some oily fingerprints on the filter when I first opened it.

Too funny... I got my filter today. Oily fingerprint dead center in the filter. Must be the packaging crew. Cleaned up fine and works out to be an awesome deal.

I already have one of these otherwise I'd be all over this. It's a great filter, very little color cast.

That's right where my fingerprints were too. We should've taken pictures of them to see if maybe they belonged to the same person!

btw, can I ask how you cleaned it? I found some fingerprints on mine so proceeded to use my normal filter cleaning solution, and the more I used the more this cloudy haze appeared on it under a bright light. I saw on the case that it says not to use "chemical cleaning" stuff. dunno if they mean not to use standard filter solution, but I can't get rid of the haze. I tried fogging it with breath and wiping it away, and it took 1/2 of it off, but I still see it. it doesn't show up in pictures and it's only under a bright light...

did you notice a weird haze on yours after cleaning under a light?

I looked at my $250 b+w multi-coated 10-stop nd, and it's completely clear with no haze, and I know I've cleaned it a few times. my lee 10-stop also doesn't have such a haze after some cleaning.
