Nairobi National Park

This is somewhat of a classic image from Nairobi National Park. Located just outside a city of millions, it contrasts the old and new Africa.

Wow - makes me sad. Humans take over everything, not always for the good!

How did you like this park? it's one of the few main ones in kenya i've not been to.

I actually enjoyed the one day we were there. We had an extra day in Nairobi before starting our photo safari (Masai Mara) and thought this would be a good introduction to African wildlife and a way of checking out our equipment. We were not disappointed at all. That being said, there is so much to see in the other parks and reserves, that I would not go out of my way to spend time there.

Now this one sure tells a story. Love the contrast of wild vs civilization with the Giraffe and the herd of Zebra.

This picture is certainly worth a thousand words... love the juxtaposition!
