This is somewhat of a classic image from Nairobi National Park. Located just outside a city of millions, it contrasts the old and new Africa.

I actually enjoyed the one day we were there. We had an extra day in Nairobi before starting our photo safari (Masai Mara) and thought this would be a good introduction to African wildlife and a way of checking out our equipment. We were not disappointed at all. That being said, there is so much to see in the other parks and reserves, that I would not go out of my way to spend time there.

Now this one sure tells a story. Love the contrast of wild vs civilization with the Giraffe and the herd of Zebra.
