Not logged on here for a while, so just noticed the site change. Nice...
The other day I had a bit of fluff on the focus screen which a blower removed. Now when I look at the focus screen it has a (tiny) monster spot of something. I tried blowing it off, no joy.
I may have two options, both scare me.
1.Remove the focus screen tweezers latex gloves etc then clean with a lint free cloth/alcohol
2. Use a kit - I have one with sterile paddles and alcohol
Which of the two methods (or any others) can anyone recommend.
I can't actually see the spot of dust on the screen but it irritates intensely when composing a shot. I know it's there and I want to kill it.
The reason I ask for ideas, is that I tried replacing spotty/dirty a focus screen in my old EOS350d, and although it seemed to go back in ok. the red focus lights never seemed to appear again on it.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Rob.
