Double Stroke On Text In PS6

Sorry if this has been asked before, but can someone let me know if it's possible to add a double or triple stroke to a text layer in PS6, please? It's no biggie but client is specifically asking for this on a pic so would be nice to find a solution for them. Thanks in advance

If you need to be able to modify the text on the fly, I think there's a way to do it with nested smart objects, but I'm not well versed in those.

Otherwise: add the stroke layer effect, then rasterize the type layer*, then add the next line of the stroke using a layer effect, rasterize again, then keep going 'till you're done.


* I think you right-click or cmd-click on the text layer, then choose Rasterize Type from the menu. I'm not in front of Photoshop right now so I can't say the exact steps.
