Love the reds against the white-whitish backgrounds Ted; it really makes the Cardinal colors pop.
Your 1st image is indeed reminiscent of a picture postcard as has been mentioned....and that's a compliment
I am a little surprised though knowing you that you left a dangling feather in the 2nd image. Just observing, not criticizing.
