Was just poking around on Youtube and came across this. Most associate the name by those little boxes we put on our flashes. But the man is much more talented than that.

Glad all are OK.

I know. It is odd about the Hell's Angels and all. Even more odd is two things from the news story.

1- Four wheel drive fire trucks could not make it up the road , but the roofing crew did?
2-A cello sitting in the drive? Maybe moved by the roofing crew to try and save what they could?

Pete, my guess about the fire crew not being able to make it is due to weight. The fire crew likely would have had to bring in water and that is HEAVY and would have impacted their ability to get up the road.
Really sad that a beautiful home like that went up in flames. No matter who owned it, it appears it was a spectacular place for events and also as a home for Gary and his family.

Ahhh, did not think of the weight aspect.

I have seen the place in many of his videos. It is gorgeous indeed

Just learned that Gary lives in my home province of British Columbia in Canada.

Too bad about the house. Looks gorgeous and the family is lucky they were on vacation while it happened.

Also hope this doesn't affect his accessories business too much.
