A pair of Northern Cardinals. I think this is the first time I've managed to get them both in the same frame.

Awesome shots Sandy! But you are just showing off with all the Cardinal shots! ;-)a Your female Cardinal needs to tell my female Cardinal that I am actually a pretty nice guy and it is OK to stick around for a picture or two.....

Lovely shots Sandy. as a small nit, try to hide all the seeds, every so often shoveling snow on top of the seeds

Hey, you finally got a redpoll visit; good for you, Sandy. I'll bet more will follow. We started with about four and now must have at least 150. A nice wintery collection.

Thanks Mark! It's funny, my female is way less skittish than the male. Just the slightest movement inside the house sends him flying. The female sits and eats at the feeder for long periods of time, only leaving when the male takes her spot.

Nice Sandy, love the pair together and the wintry feel.

Thank you. I was pleased to finally have them arrive together, rather than each go to a separate feeding station.

Thanks Ted, great advice. The spot where they decided to land is in the center of my perches. The far end on each side of this piece of wood juts up into the air, making isolation easy...normally!

Thanks Al! I had the one Redpoll for two days, but I haven't seen one since...fingers are crossed that he returns, with his friends.

This is where the Cardinals are suppose to land...on the end of the piece of wood, not in the middle where the seeds are located!

The snow certainly makes the Cardinal color pop Sandy and you did a great job getting the Mr. and Mrs. together.
The Blue Jay is the real winner to my eye though. While it doesn't look all that happy with the snow, it's stoic perch against the elements is very attractive.
Just something for you to play with in your spare time - try cropping your 4th image in portrait format leaving the conifer and snow in frame but removing as much as possible of the sunflower. Just a thought.....
