Went to a local park called Fanshawe Conservation to try and get some bald eagle pics. No eagles while i was there today, so i ended up taking a landscape pic instead.

Looks like a nice day to be out shooting!

Compositionally, I like the image though I might crop out the bottom 1/4 of water (just a smidge below the line of ducks in the middle of the stream outflow) to provide more of a draw into the image scene.

Thnx for the reply. I was thinking that i didn't really like how i framed it. I wished i shot a little higher to get more of the tops of the trees in the shot

Yeah, sometimes you 'want' to include those trees...but, consider the main focal point being the ducks, the stream intersection and the main portion of the trees with snow/frost on them! :)

Plus, if you're shooting in raw, any edits you make won't affect the master file!
