What card stock for announcement cards?

I'm looking to print some photo announcement cards, but want something heavier then standard photo paper.

What weight paper would you suggest for such a thing?

They'd be mailed, USPS so i'll package them with light cardboard for protection but I want them to last for a while.

No sure what you mean by announcement cards, but Red River has a considerable variety of card stocks, and they sell a sampler box so that you can play with a variety and see what you like.

Yup I ordered that. Birth announcement cards that you mail out. I don't suspect that regular 60# photo paper would hold up well long term or thru the mail so I'm looking for a heavier paper.should be here Monday so I can try them out.
