haha...hey I finally moved up from two crutches to one :-) I can kinda walk on my own w/o it but I was kinda drinking that night when I did it :-P
ok I also did a lap in the mall so that might have helped as well. the alcohol helped a little...

Replacing the pain pills with alcohol is a good thing?

Sounds like your getting better. That's good to hear. :D

Everyone won't be hiking Dreamy Draw until late Sept. or Oct. Will your knee be up to the task?

Should've joined us up on the rim this past Saturday. We saw and shot lots of storms. I didn't get any lightning shots however. :( Geoff did though. :D

I think you have to put on a pink tutu, a matching feather boa and bunny ears. Make sure you let us know when you're going to try it so we can document your effort.

Don't worry Adam, there are nice lightning bolts in your future!:)

Another portion of the enjoyment of the storms was the noise! The thunder boomers were awesome. :D

Getting a lightning shot was pure luck - hundreds of random frames shot and one had a strike in it. Shoot ten rapid frames, wait a little and shoot ten more rapid frames and on and on. Of course it was during the waiting periods that all the nice lightning was out.:eyes

if there are a lot of strikes it should be easy. I've shot a bunch in NM. Do you have a remote cable.

I should definitely be walking around by then but I would also be in flagstaff at that time. it would have to be a weekend and one where I don't have a football game to go to then I would be able to head to back down here for a hike :-) prolly still have my brace on too but any exercise is good exercise.
