I took the attached photos this past 4th of July. I photoshopped out picture of the knife shown in the other photos. I thought this was a really cool shot as the balloon has broken but the water hasn't yet been displaced. Let me know your thoughts... Mike

nice photo Mike, you can still see where the knife gets retracted in the photo because of that slight spray of water which btw that's a HUGE knife. haha. gotta love the 8.5 fps

How do you like your AB800's? I've been looking at lighting/backdrops/fil​ters, etc and am just starting to get myself educated! Prices seem to vary a whole lot. Anything good (lighting wise) get posted to craigslist? I've noticed lots of posts re: craigslist, but the original postings are not around anymore.

Like Kristy I have two AB-800's and like them. If I could've afforded them I'd have opted for Elinchroms or Hansels but for the price and how often I use them, the AB800's work well. I'll probably pick-up another one (or two) lights and start looking at a few more modifiers.

Since we live in the same area, PM me sometime if you want to get together and play with studio lights before spending the money. It will be easier to see want you need and what you don't need.

just picked up a 24-70 for a nice price and it was new. for some reason i thought you had one, guess i should read the fine print more often.

I've used Kristy's once or twice. Never owned one... I have from 50mm on up covered... Just need everything below. I need Santa to bring over the 16-35mm as well. LOL
