I got my new G9 from newegg today. I am really impressed with its feature set. I know the low ISO is noisy but everything else is great for me to carry around with me. Sometimes you just don't want to take out your monster. I hope all are doing well.

Jay, looks like you had some fun with your camera. I really like the ocean photos.

Ditto Jay, great work!

Great color! Looks very warm and tranquill. Bet the visibility while diving or snorkling is superb.

Thanks T.O.

They let us out of our cave for a day last Monday. Track was dark so with nothing moving, we had nothing to televise.

:o Under the heading of "I'm an idiot..." :

Just tonite realized that on Zenfolio you have to actually create an initial price list even if it's only the boiler plate list they provide.

Jeez. No wonder I haven't sold a mug or mousepad yet... Now those orders will come rolling in!! Any minute now...any minute now...

I'm actually hoping for at least a little cloud cover. I think it would add some character to the eclipse shots. Still trying to figure out where to set up tonight to give this a try. Tatum/101 is probably just a tad non-ideal for astro shots, hehe.

Me? I'd use the long lens shade to be sure and catch every inch...
Actually, the eclipse starts at Moonrise so if you shoot early, you wont' get as much snow down the barrel. Just don't tilt up much...

:p

ooooh... I bet if you go up carefree hwy... and the up around Lake Pleasant you could get some nice shots. We were camping there over the weekend and the stars were amazingly bright.. no city lights.. :)
