That's a pretty cute dog, Kristy. I got attacked by one of those once (I think it was mostly pit though). Apparently, when you glare at them... they don't like that, so the bite you in the butt.... lol

Yeah.. it's scary when you worry about the Pit part.... but we got her from a pretty solid breeder that has a lot of dogs on his property. He breeds for a certain look, and for a certain temperment.

I was nervous when he opened a kennel and let out this HUGE 120+ pound dog... the thing was bigger than me.... And he came over an jumped up on a picnic table and sat down next my youngest daughter and just sat there. He'd run around for a minute and them come back and sit at her feet. I think he was protecting her because she was little.

Anyway.. they have a great reputation for being kid friendly... and every dog this guy had was totally calm.... She's been great all afternoon. We just put her to bed and she's whining.... I think she misses her siblings now... yikes...it's going to be a loooooong night. My husband will cave... and let her out of the sleeping crate... and sleep on the floor with her. Guaranteed. LOL!

Hahaha! Well, if he does... you have got to get a shot of that! lol

That's great that she's so good around your kid. It always amazes me what kind of affect kids can have on all sorts of things. :)

What time does the gathering usually happen? I only knew of the pavillions in like scottsdale/tempe area there...I will definitely need to check this one out...which I'm sure I'm missing at the moment. but there's next weekend.

I'm sorry for not posting the time.

It usually starts around 5ish pm.

Hot weather I get there around 7.

It was a great turnout last night (Saturday). Someone showed up with a brand new Dodge Challenger. First one most of us had seen.

If anyone is interested in what a new Challenger looks like.

I've gone to the bike gatherings at the Pavillions a few times. Depending on the time you get there, and the weather, it can be a lot of fun.

Lots of fun is right. If you like cars, old or new, try one of these FREE shows.

Such a cutie! How exciting. Don't cave in!! The last time we had puppies, we would get down and lay on the floor next to their crate until they fell asleep and then go back to bed. They stopped crying after a couple of nights. But then there is the 2am dash to the back door to let them out to go!
I love puppies! :)

Cute dog Kristy. :)

Working on photos from the weekend....
Taken after the NPC Show.

She did fantastic! She placed 2nd her class and 4th in the Jr. Masters. I'm very proud of her to say the least. She didn't expect to place as this was not a natural show. Not to say everyone is on the juice or anything... but... that door is open for others to walk through.

Canon 5d
Canon 70-200L IS
Enlichrom Ranger RX/AS

ISO 125
F/11

Single medium softbox about 4 feet away.
My meter stopped working on me so I have to wing it... pretty pleased with some of the shots... would have been nice to use the meter.

Shot in Chandler AZ... around 11 a.m. Bright and sunny to say the least... but this is what happens when you sleep in. ROFL

Thanks for looking.
