Opps sorry. It’s a Staub. Not Le Creuset!

Wife loves the Staub oval for various preparations. Heavy sucker when filled up with meat, veggies and liquids. Want to say that it feels like 22# or so. That made her wish for oven shelves with rollers when pulling it out.

Posted this in the other food thread but was meant to be here. I'll post one of the alternate views to not be so redundant. ;)

Roasted pork tenderloin: ground toasted onion, garlic powder, drizzled with aged 18Y balsamic vinegar.

Because of the cold weather, well, cold for here at any rate, I made some corned beef today. I love the aromas it fills the house with and using my instant pot, it turned out awesome. I planned on taking a shot after it was plated but couldn't wait. *slurp* :p

I'll probably cut thin slices of what's left over tomorrow for sandwiches.

I live about an hour and a half southeast of Los Angeles in Riverside County and we got some snow and hail here too.

Here's a shot from this afternoon of the San Jacinto Mountains just east of me. On the other side of the mountain is Palm Springs.

That's pretty cool. We were in Palm Springs during Thanksgiving, beautiful place. I also used to travel a lot for work to Ontario, Rancho Cucamongo area. Miss those days as traveling to LA area much easier than going all the way to China. And in LA, I could do model shoots in the evening when I had some time.

That's more attention to the color scheme than in most shots here. Planning paid off.

Nice Rosco!! How is this from your 5D. Been pondering one of those myself since I'm SLR-less.
