I bought this cheapie flash trigger some years ago and never used it. Just dug it out and can't get it to fire. I have mislaid a cable which I think came with it. Will I need a cable to attach to the hot shoe to my 1D?
If so, what cable would I need?

Hi,
No cable required initially. Trebble check the batteries & their contacts - it's easy to fail to remove all wrapping on the batteries.

The Tx goes in your 1D hot-shoe. The Rxs have a hot-shoe for Speedlites. A cable would be required for Studio Strobes.

That system has no 'Wake-Up' - so be sure to disable 'Sleep' on your Speedlites. Prob 120th max sync, too. Cheers
