Exposure Fusion and Focus Stacking in the Same Image

Here's something I have not tried but may need some time in the future and want to plan ahead. I can imagine wanting to both stack focus and blend exposures in an interior shot so how would you do this?

Here's what makes sense to me:

1. Make a 7 shot 1 stop bracket on site and decide in LR how many of the brackets to actually blend with LR Enfuse.
   
2. Make identical 7 shot brackets at as many focus points as needed.
   
3. Import these into LR with the same (camera and lens) profile.
   
4. Then each bracketed series would need to be blended with LR Enfuse without any other changes before or after.
   
5. Then the blended brackets would be blended again for focus stacking.
   
6. Finally any exposure, color balance, lens correction, or other adjustments are added to the image.
   

Sheeesh, it would be easier to break out the paints and canvas and do it the old fashioned way

Seriously, I have been wondering about this too so would be interested to see the replies you get.
