Canada House on JUNO beach, Bernières-sur-Mer, Normandy. The first house which was liberated by Canadian troops who landed on the beach. These troops where from the Queen's Own Rifles of Canada. Within yards of this the house, more than 100 Canadian soldiers were killed or wounded in the first minutes of the invasion.

Google "Canadian landing at Normandy" and you can see a photo of that house from D-Day. Very cool.
