capturing the feel of a room

i am a student studying 3d modelling and animation

i need help with getting a good angle for a photo-realism assignment.

it has to be of a room, i am hoping people know some examples of phtographers who can capture the feel of a room thru the lens.

i am not looking to steal or copy anyones work, i know the scene i am doing (a bar being renovated), but i am not a photographer and because the assignment is a single render and not an animated tour of the room i only have one chance to get it right

I cannot answer your question, however, my wife and I have been experimenting with a software package provided at www. PARA.com This software allows one to photo a room and alter its interior colors before buing their paint!

One idea might be to look at their demo because the full package is loaded with great interiors. Along the same line the Ralph Lauren/ Ethan Allen paint/ furniture brochues are filled with great interiors but they do not credit the photographers. Their head office might know the photographers .

I -- with natural light and without trying too hard -- have shot interiors and have found that the light varies trmendously across walls, in corners, and around furniture. To alter same to "eye memory" has meant that I had to use of the "lasso" and "replace color" functions in PS7 to reduce the range of shading of a specific paint.
