Snowy Egret and importance of the gesture

It appears there is a slight difference between "a birder" and "a wildlife photographer". When photographing, the birder works for hours to get classic posture images of his subject. On the other hand, the wildlife photographer looks for 'gesture', that interaction or behavior that tells the story. I photographed this snowy egret in Shark Valley, The Everglades. The birder may not see this as the perfect pose, but for me, this is the moment it clicked. Snowy Egret photographed while scouting for a future workshop with @Joe McBroom.
