so how big is this light of yours?

i actually googled it and see a few different versions. for some reason i'm very curious, and have been since you originally posted. :D I thought it would go away but it hasn't.

i'm assuming it is very close to the sammich.

Rough dimensions are 12' tall by 6" wide across the face and then about 3.5" deep at its deepest. The lens itself measures about 4.75" wide by 8" tall.

The light was used pretty close to the sandwich and with the use of a couple white boards as reflectors I get a little more mileage, so to speak, out of the verilux. It works well on smaller items but as the size of the subject increases you will quickly find the lights limitations.

I intend to use it as shadow fill on some natural light food shots soon but just have not got around to it yet. I will post something when I do.
