I'm not very good at processing astro images, but I am reasonably happy with how this shot turned out considering the light pollution which was present.

Good job.

Mind sharing the hardware setup and shooting specs for others just starting out? It's a good learning tool. Especially what certain lenses are capable of capturing.

I'm in Canada. Isn't that weird!

Apologies, I forgot to include details. It was taken on a Canon 7D and 70-200mm lens at 175mm @ f/6.3, ISO 800 at 59 seconds. Camera was mounted on an Astrotrac which wasn't polar aligned, but was ok for exposures under 2 minutes without trailing. Processed in DxO Optics pro 10.

Thanks guys.
I need to brush up on my post processing. Astrophotography is definitely the most challenging type of photography that I've tried.
