Hi Everyone -

I'm in a relatively short timeframe to get some prints ready for local art shows. I'd like to label my prints as "archival quality", so any possible buyers could have faith in a purchase. I think I need to find a print lab that will not be printing on an inkjet correct?

I know for home printing that pigment-based ink is the gold standard for longevity.

Recommendations?

I just ordered re-fill cartridges for an Epson 2200 I bought used, but I don't think I have enough time to print everything myself.

Thanks Valerie, I think all trails are leading to mpix.

I really like the quality of Whitewall (external link). If you are doing monochrome I really like the prints on Ilford B&W paper. It seems to just have something that printing on colour papers in monochrome lacks. Its very subtle but it is IMO nicer. I have to say that back in my darkroom days I mostly used either Ilford Multigrade RC papers or similar mono grade papers from Kentmere.

I don't think inkjet disqualifies it from being archival.
I think the inkset, the paper type and how it's displayed are what matters.
