These are a great set of photos. Reminds me of stuff that you would see in Life magazine. Very good work.

#5! Perfect mix of calm and chaos. Honest depiction. I love it.

I really like all of them, some may be a bit noisy/grainy for my personal tastes, but that is a very minor nit pick.

In #4 I can almost hear her thinking "Shhh, don't blow my cover with that camera. Mom doesn't know I am about to escape."

Thanks! ISO 25600 is pretty clean on the RX1 but not super clean. I did zero noise reduction on these because, well, Im lazy and it doesnt bother me. Really though, when Im making images only for me and my family, Id rather have them and get them done than become frustrated with taking them because I have to make a lot of edits to each one.

That is a great point! I take the same view when it comes to shots of my own family.

I would much rather have a shot that captures the emotion, like these do, than either miss the shot, or spend hours obsessing over every little detail (when I could be enjoying my children).

Great images, love image 5 - i had instant flashback, poignant for me. Mine are all grown, even have kids of their own. It was a time of pulling your hair out to being overcome with so much love. Great idea to do a collection, enjoyed!:-)
