Nice shot. Where abouts on the loch were you for this shot?

As for the edit, i can see your idea. The sky is washed out and could do with an alteration, but the real strong, daylight blue just doesnt work for me. Seems to jump out of the shot and say i dont belong here.

great shot.

sorry mickle, not sure about the edit. the lighting of the scene doesnt reflect your choice of sky colour. also bear in mind that if you're going to play with the sky, you have to get it right in the water reflection, which you've overlooked. so, either crop, or figure out a way to colour the water!

anyway, the original's great!

The location was extreme north of the loch. I have attached the original image pre photoshop.

I like your original shot (i.e. the first one that you posted), and can sympathise with the boring sky, as I see that all the time in my shots. ;)
