What do I need to remember in my next photo session?

Here are a few pics...

What did I miss, and what do I need to improve?
Thank you,

I like the content of this image, as well as the 1:1 crop, but I might have chosen to not cut off the corner of the winding road. There is a bit of a bluish haze that is somewhat distracting to me. I don't quite mind the mountains on the left having the blue tint as they appear to be shaded from the sun, however, the mountains on the right stick out to me as they are in direct sunlight. Being under direct sunlight, it's confusing to see them with the blue cast.

Did you accidentally induce this during post-processing? If not, I don't know how you could have fixed this during the shoot...UV/haze filters seem like they never really do much, but in this case it may have helped. Another option that may have helped would be a CPL filter.

As far as the second image, again, I like the composition. However, there seems to be quite a bit of noise/grain. What ISO setting was used?

I'm taking these pics with a Nikon Coolpix L120

I'm not to certain about the ISO... I'm not sure what the ISO was.

I agree with the cropping of the road... I think I may have used the Horizontal tool, and then lost some of the road...
I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 9.0 When I sue the horizontal tool it puts blue in the picture, and I have to crop it out... I don't know how or if I can fix that.

The bluish tint is post editing... I realized that, but didn't know how to fix it.... I'm still young in Photography.
I wish I could get a "photography tutor," but I joined here thinking I could get at least a little help.

I can't put filters on my camera -? I'm currently in the market for a used camera that won't break the budget (Only problem is I don't know what my budget is... I haven't come up with one yet.) Any suggestions on a camera?

Not sure how you are managing to introduce the blue tint. I'm not familiar with the PS Elements software, but a cropping tool should not be introducing any color effects. Maybe it is a gradient tool that you are using? I wouldn't worry about adding filters considering the haze/blue tint wasn't actually present when the image was captured.

As far as camera recommendations, a solid choice for an entry-level DSLR would be something like the 550D or 650D. You can typically find good deals if you purchased used from the Buy/Sell section in these forums. Like most consumer purchases, the choice essentially comes down to how much you want to spend on the item.

Your photograph can be ok, your actual main problem is editing, like the first one you might push the sliders too far > look at the mountain on the right, it's glowing, the sky have blue stripes, the vegetation is too green, like nuclear thing happen there ;) etc ...)
On the second one, you might have push the "Clarity" slider too far, and you got this white line just above the trees/mountain and it re-inforce the sensation of a lot of noise (your ISO are fine you are at ISO 80 ;) )

Your exif are on the first one :
