I'm going to post this pic... and then I'm going to edit it and take notes on what I did.
Please tell me what I did right and wrong... when the editing is finished I will post the pic.
Thank you,
BC

Here it is... I can't think of what else to edit, but remember, I'm a beginner. I probably missed a lot!
This is what I changed:
I used the Horizontal tool + The cropping tool
Mid tone contrast +12%
Brightness 6
Contrast 35
Saturation -15

That's all I changed... now what did I miss and do wrong?
Thank you,
BC

you only did something wrong if it doesn't look the way you want it to look.

That said, the pic is way too blue because your white balance is off.

double click on the white eye dropper in the Curves dialog, the eye dropper i am talking about is near the bottom right corner of the "Select target highlight color window" in this picture. Set your white point to an appropriate hue, saturation, and value. You can see the circle in the color picker for the color i chose.

back in the curves dialog, make sure the white eye dropper is selected and click in the image on something you want to be the color you chose. I clicked on the snow on roof over the barn door.

I like the edit.

Just a couple of things I'm seeing - bottom center of the image. I'm seeing a twig or branch or something. You cleaned up the others in the image (or cropped them out), so I'd get rid of that one too. Also, just slightly higher up and right of the twig I'm seeing a dust spot or something that appeared to be on the lens - get that spot too.

Only other thing, on my un-calibrated monitor it could use a little bit of an exposure bump up maybe?

Oh, one more "one last thing", not a correction, but that tree in front of the house/barn is really weird, huh? It looks like a pano-gone-wrong or like the bases were just erased from multiple trees.

Thanks for sharing

The exposure looks fine to me once the white balance is corrected. I agree with Left Handed Brisket that it has a blue cast and also on how to crop the image to get rid of the branches on the top left and the twigs sticking up out of the ground (left side of image and bottom of image).
