A little girl with her mother & father, on the Chobe River in Namibia. The guide of our photo boat knew the family who were fishing for dinner. We ran over to the river bank, but the girl wasn't so happy, she hid behind mum & dad while we chatted. Great light.

Never thought you'd post here and then you put up a very nearly perfect picture of a beautiful girl in perfect light.

Seriously?

First one is a prize winner. Excellent job.

Of all the thousands of photos we view on a regular basis, this is what photography is all about. Great image
I wanted to add that her hiding behind her mom is like any kid across this planet :)

I said that because I thoroughly dislike poking a lens into someones face & very rarely shoot people. But this girl was so shy & quiet, I thought I could risk it.

Thanks for your comments.

With the exception of the mother's arm, the first picture is super.

Yes the first shot is favourite also. No, no PP done at all, apart from cropping to emphasis the mothers are (her protection)

Thanks to every one for kind comments, I may even try a whole new genre now! Who knows?!? :-)

Beautiful eyes, that's the first thing that stuck about her. Even nicer when we were mid river & no (perceived) threat to her. Now I'm home I'll do a bit of editing on 1 or 2 others & see if I can find another winner. This one just jumped out at me tho.
