I have 2x rovelight 600s and a canon 430ex II

up until now I was trigger the 430 and using the RL-600 as a slave.
I upgraded to a second RL600 and now I wanna use their wireless system.

I was gonna trade or sell the 430exII and get another 1-2 yongnuo flashes or something

What is the best flash they put out that has optical slave?

They will be used as fill/hair/rim lights so they don't have to be super bright, just very reliable and well built

I was having a hard time finding which was their newest one.

a buddy just said

'I have two yn560ii, and 2 rf 602 triggers with 1 602 transceiver I'll trade you for the Canon'

What's wrong with the 430? Any other flashes will have minimally more power than that one.
And I wouldn't say that's a good trade.

Just get a pair of YN 622c triggers and you can do HSS with all three lights.

I just want something that has built in optical slave.

I'm tired of having 023984u240359 different pieces of gear.

That just opens more room for failure.

The power the 430exII puts off is superb.
I just want something that is equal to it but with built in optical slave so that I can wireless to my two mains and they will trigger the hair/rim light

There's many out there YN flashes which I have found to be a tad underpowered from there clames.. There's also flashes like the Pixel Mago that are sub 100. And much much more powerfull. You looking for pure manual with optical slave or a flash that can be used as a ttl flash also with hss?

Manual.

Don't really need the other stuff since itll just be simple studio stuff I use it for.

HSS would be ok but I don't really care for it

If you're not doing HSS or ETTL then the yongnuo flashes are a great way to go. They have optical slaves, but some of the models have integrated radio slaves too.
