And with added Wifi, etc, it seems like a heel of deal considering all the great features T4i andT5i already provided at such a low price at entry level that actually deliveries beyond.

looks great, I'm tempted to trade mine up as the built in Wi-Fi and better focus sound great. Looking forward to some reviews of that focus system, if it's as good as that in the 7D/70D it will be very tempting.

This one looks like an actual improvement. Seems very interesting.

Specially at offered prices:

T6i $750

T6s $850 only 100 more. And kit lens another $100 more.

I guess we never had this much features for such a low price and this should hurt the D5xxx line of Nikon cameras badly.

Also don't forget the really capable and significantly price dropped T5i that now can be bought for under $600.

A lot of good options to enter and beyond.
Must say "Thanks Canon" for whatever you do in this line of production and marketing.

The very fact that WiFi connection to a say tablet, can give you that needed magnification for the critical focusing, shutter release is adequately good and enough reason to want it, and forget about the transfer of the files but then through the experience from past WiFis, they are not always what they said to be and that is the problem.

I'd like wifi for immediate backup of images, assuming it lets you do this. 5 days festivals with nowhere to backup images make me paranoid :)

I was looking at specs for the T6s and now I honestly can't make up my mind between that and a 70D when I decide to upgrade again.

I also suspect that prices for T4is and T5is are going to be dropping in the very near future, the T6i and T6s look like they should be great.

70D vd t6s does look very close on specs alone, looking forward to some reviews. Hoping the t4i doesn't drop too quickly though as I was hoping to sell it and upgrade in a few months.

On paper the T6s looks like a better value than the 70D. 24mpix + Digic 6 processor for $250 less than the 70D. The 70D does have a better viewfinder and higher FPS.

It will be more interesting to me to see if there's any improvement with noise and dynamic range for this new sensor. More mpix is nice, but more DR and less noise would be even better.
