Time to start talking about what features we'd like to see in the Canon 5Ds Mark II.
What would you add?

I fully recognize there is a market out there that loves the idea of higher resolution (landscape photographers, commercial photographers, studio photographers, and more), but I really would like to see improvements in low light performance and increased dynamic range.

Without a doubt, Canon is making better and better cameras, but it sometimes feels like they are just riding on the same technology train rather than developing an avenue of truly innovative sensor technology. Bryan That's not the point of the 's' line of cameras - 1Ds, and now 5Ds. They're all about resolution and low-ISO image quality (the jury's still out on DR, but, so far, Canon's efforts in that regard are all as bad as each other).

The 5Ds is not the camera for you, but literally every other camera in Canon's lineup is. There needs to be something for the landscape/studio crowd too - you can't have a one-size-fits-all body which is optimal for every application. I understand where you're coming from. I love my 5D Mark III and as a landscape shooter, I may very well pick up a 5Ds R. You're absolutely right that Canon needs to have a camera to fit different styles and there is no one size fits all camera body. I guess I'm just a little concerned about all of those pixels crammed into a full frame sensor. I'm a long time Canon fan and I'm pretty sure their engineers know what they are doing, but in past models where the density was packed in like this, the end result was not very impressive. I sincerely hope my concerns are unfounded and this camera is all that it is cracked up to be.
