I love the hut which was used
wonderful what can be done , inside and out

is it standing room only (no seats)
and is it used today at all?

There's more information in th Orcadian newspaper such as this article on Sixty years on - a symbol of peace stands the test of time (external link) from 2002. One of the Italian prisoners was Domenico Chiocchetti who even stayed on after the war to ensure the chapel's completion. There was a memorial service held in the chapel in 1999 when Chiocchetti died, but I don't know if there are routine services held at the moment. I was near the entrance when I took shot #2, and I there wasn't rows of pews or anything like that.

Thanks weemannie. Orkney is a really nice place to visit, and there's plenty to photograph. I even took the 45 mins scheduled flight from Kirkwall around the islands and back. I was sitting in the co-pilot's seat and snapping away for all I was worth.
