A few shots I captured today out on my first hike in the Whichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge... I was about to turn around to an eventless day and this guy scared the crap out of me from behind a tree about 5ft off the trail, hah! C&C always welcomed.

(I always have a soft spot for Bison, and sometimes miss mine, but not during the rut)
