Both played at my old theatre I worked at for many years, both amazing shows, both fantastic people to talk to and work with back stage.

Bela Fleck had this crazy sound guy, and despite the fact that we had had MegaDeath and GodSmack, the Bela Fleck sound check was THE LOUDEST thing that had ever happened in our circa 1928 music hall. The bass sound waves literally vibrated our incandescent candelabra bulbs so hard that about 1/3rd of them blew out!

One of my favorites.

I got to see him Live a few times working with Roomful of Blues. Fantastic! Just the best.

A few years later, I was working with his lighting designer doing a "Shakespeare in the Park" in August of 1990 when he died. That was a heart breaking day. :( :( :(

Love the effort that has been put in to produce this compilation.

I have accepted Peter Gabriel into my heart as the Patron Saint of R&R. So rarely I meet actual fans of his work, love it that you understand and appreciate him.

Some the very little Gabriel-Genesis I actually like, including "In the Cage" and "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway"

A lot of it was incomprehensible IMHO, (likewise on his early solo albums) but some of it was pure gold and easily one can see parts of the evolution that led to his later work.

Jeff Beck. Fantastic guitarist

We had 2nd row center seats mid 90 Guitar Shop tour Terry Bozzio on drums.

Here's one from Ronnie Scotts a few years later.

I listen to a lot of podcasts. I just got hooked on and am finishing up a "true-crime" podcast called To Live and Die in LA. Although I have mixed feelings about the whole genre, it is compelling.

I'm mainly here for the snacks

Hadn't heard this version of Freeborn Man before. Pretty hot band, especially with Mark O'Connor fiddling around back there.

The only version of this song I knew was Junior Brown's. Here's some video I shot of him a few years ago at a free concert in Muncie, Indiana.

Thank you, Pekka! I'm sure some members here might have imagined that POTN might begin winding down. But that doesn't make the news any less disappointing. So generous of you to allow us to go along for the ride. As a result you gave us a way to help each other become better photographers. But there's still so much more to learn.
