How did you get on with the new 2x convertor? Given the exif on the above pics, I take it you used that on your 7D2

Here's one shot of the 16 I took before I switched back to the 7d2 + 300 combo, it lost a bit of speed with the AF, I didn't use it for very long, I think I'll give it another go next weekend

There's been a lot of rain in my part of the world today. A high school game in Zululand this morning.

I've never seen this much water on a rugby field before.

Surprised it went ahead tbh, wouldn't like to be at the bottom of a ruck in what looks like three or four inches of standing water. Great pics tho

Nice to see the 2x working for for you Milutiche, love the separation @600mm. My mk2 2x worked fine until my 300 f2.8 took a hit from a cricket ball and now i can only just get away with a 1.4 convertor

Ouch, you're lucky to have only lost that functionality!
I think I might try finding a 1.4x iii and see how it compares

Gutted, club had a boiler malfunction this morgan, so half our squad had to go to hospital for carbon monoxide poisoning. Guys are all ok, but if the club get docked points, we'll be relegated -?

I've been waiting patiently for our local season to begin, and we are now playing some trials at least to get me shooting again and back in the groove. - a little rusty and the keep rate wasn't where I hoped it would be but not a bad start to the season.
Heres a couple from our local representative team the Central West Blue Bulls in a trial against the Central Coast rep side. As always C&C appreciated !

I like them, but if you want c&c then crop tighter if you can. Decide who you want as the subject and make them the feature. Against the rules, bit i did a quick edit...
