Highland (my team) played top of the table Melrose and we held on for a win....a little happy to the least.

We had one this week too. Made a big fuss about retiring a couple of games ago. turned up for the opposition this week. No integrity at all. A few afters were exchanged during the match.

Yeah ours got "dick of the day" for both teams and had to down both pints !!! He took it in great spirits as did everybody else. That is rugby for you ... before and after compared to what happens on the pitch !!

Have to admit, I'm enjoying the novelty of shooting at the equivalent of 560mm, more if you include the 1.3 crop factor :-)

trying something i said i would never do, shooting with i.s. at shutter speeds just high enough to freeze most of the movent. brought on by an inability to spend money on a newer body, but with a need to keep the iso down. currently at 1/640th and seems to be working...
