Lovely series Per. Particularly like your Siskin.

Your long-tailed Tit has a very white head, I wonder if it is a juv transitioning to adult plumage?

Your coal tit looks a bit blue, you might want to warm up the colour temperature if your shooting raw.

Thank you very much for criticism! Regarding the Coal tit I got the advice to the opposite at a Swedish similar place!!

It might regional variation of different sub-species I guess.

The UK long-tailed tit (Aegithalos caudatus) always looks like this in the UK as an adult and the second as a juv

I just found a video of your LTT (also Aegithalos Caudatus) with the white head, interesting.

Bit more research: Your ones are ssp. caudatus and the UK ones ssp. rosacceus (Colins Bird Guide 2nd Ed)

This is a UK Coal-tit (Periparus ater) (I belive the juv has a bit of a green cast but have not seen one)

The RSPB description says "...distinctive grey back, black cap, and white patch at the back of its neck", which is why I though there might be a blue cast in your shot.

Sorry about that. As you say the Sweedish shots of these on the web look more blue that grey on the back.

Bit more research: Europe wide tend to lead or blue grey back (as yours) with UK more green grey (ssp britannicus) (Colins Bird Guide 2nd Ed)

So it seems to be local sub-species difference, apologies again!
