Wonderful captures - look like weird engravings.

Thanks very much Brian. These occur when moisture trapped between my internal end external windows condenses and freezes. They can vary wildly depending on temperature variation and humidity levels. I have been meaning to photograph them for years. Now that I have made an initial study I'm going to be at this a lot more. The biggest challenge I face is when I open the interior window to get close enough focus I start getting condensation and melt so I have to work fast.

Thanks. About as close to 1:1 as I could get handheld.
