Which do you like best?
Smaller one is better composition, while larger waterfall was really tough to get close to.

The main subject is the waterfall and not the "twigs" below. I would kinda like to see what the water is falling into. I assume, as you said, there may have been problems getting closer and higher. I would have loved to get closer! After tromping through ankle-deep wet mud, I would have had to climb up a LARGE pile of rock/logs. I actually started climbing over the rock/log jam and when I stepped on one of the large rocks, I felt it start to rumble, followed by a cracking sound beneath me. I promptly (but carefully) turned around and went back down where I came from. On top of all that, the spray looked to be problematic above the rock/log jam. Canon 6D, & Sony α6000
