I started with the 100mm f2.8 Macro, then I got into reverse-mounting my 50mm f1.4, sold the 50 to help afford a 135L and now I have a cheap Fotodiox extension tube set I took this first photo with last night. I feel like the 50 gave me a little bit more magnification, but overall I'm happier with the cheap extension tubes. What do you think?

Very nice compositions.
