Looks like I'm getting involved in shooting local high school sports. Do you have any experience in using photos in school fundraisers? There's some very cool options out there for making photos into trading cards, for example. Any experience in this area?

Team posters with advertising slots for sponsors. Get them bulk printed from some online company using offset printing. Should run you only a few bucks a poster. Depending on the number of sponsors you get and the price per slot, you can do quite well for your sports club. I have done this a number of years for our local Football team.

shortrunposters is cheap and you can print 16x20 on photo paper at Costco for $6, much cheaper t smaller sizes which may work depending on what you'll do with the posters. Good luck.

can you share some thoughts on quantities?

maybe how many students in the high school and how many posters you have printed to at least come close to selling out?

Offset printing smallest run use to be 250, but they have since gotten some new machines
and now can run 100. This was for 18x24. Smaller sizes, you can get smaller runs, but it's
not really about the quantity and what you could sellout. The cost to get a slot on the poster
is your "money maker". I charged $xxx a slot and provided 16 slots. Free posters to
slot holders to display in their stores ( Pizzeria's, Deli's, Market's, Auto Repair ..... ). Selling
the posters themselves we did for just $x each. By the time the players, Parents and Grandparents
get a copy, you've covered the printing costs. Your slot holders, ( sponsors ) are your fund raisers
for your club. It's advertising for them, it's a keep sake for the players/parents, it a fund raiser for
your club. Not sure of the rules so I'm not posting dollar amounts or print companies but I think
you get the idea.

Joemt.
