Why oh why doesn't Sony offer a >300mm prime ?????

OK sorry to be daft, but I thought I understood the title, but the initial post just has me scratching my head with no idea what the actual question is.

If the question is "Can you get a longer then 300mm prime for a sony/Minota A mount, the answer is yes.

CDS here is what I mean-I have a Lumix 100-300mm Poof and I use on either a GH4 GX7 or Oly M5 MP ii. It is 100-300mm. The longest I can get in an e-mount is the new FE 24-240mm. I have it and its OK but nothing stellar. Soon maybe Olympus is to give us a 300mm F4.....so why no 300mm from Sony? Note I'm talking straight up focal length, not crop factors, and not involving adaptors. Yes I've got a metabones and put EOS lenses on my e-mount bodies and our m4/3 bodies but there is never the satisfaction of good autofocus going that route.
So it is either that Sony sees no market selling 300+mm lenses or that it can't be done. That or there is a physical limitation that e-mount has that m4/3s doesn't? ?
