A Bald Eagle in hot pursuit of an Osprey in an attempt to steal the Osprey's catch. It was quite a sight, with, at one point, the Bald Eagle flying upside-down underneath the Osprey trying to snatch the fish from the Osprey's talons.

Very cool.

The interaction between birds of prey species is fun to behold.

Thanks Ian! I wish I could accommodate you on the upside down shot but unfortunately I did not catch that bit of the action as I was trying to get out of my truck/grab camera/grab tripod in what I can best describe as an excited panic at that particular moment. :-D

There will be days when you get the shot(s) you missed days, months or years before.

Thanks Red! Yes, the Osprey did prevail and made a clean get-away with the Mullet.

One of those moments when Lady Luck decides to favor you. Excellent seizure of that moment. Great shot! Wonder if birds really can fly upside down , or is it a glide/momentum thing. And did you remember to put in "Park" during the panic? I didn't-that car never was right after it was pulled out of the bay:lol:. Just kidding.
