Hi
some minutes ago , i was watching a Scott Kelby video
here _http://scottkelby.com/2015/photoshop-user-tv/ (external link)

about getting dark print
at minutes 1 , Scott Kelby says that he duplicates the layer and sets the up laywer to blend mode screen ,opacity 20

do you think it's really worth to try ?

thanks

Yes, it was terrible. To suggest sliding a slider instead of accurately calibrating your screen is appalling.

No it's not. Your screen should match your print.

Which calibrator do you have?

I use a regular curves layer with no adjustments and set it to Screen blending mode, then adjust the opacity to anywhere from 10% to 33%, depending on the printer.

Only when I send photos to my lab do I omit this step.

Yes, I work with a colour-calibrated monitor.

And have you followed my directions here? http://www.damiensymonds.com.au/calibration.html (external link)

DON'T follow the instructions that come with the Munki, they're appalling.

Yes, but values are different for each printer.
