Been to this local duck pond hundreds of times and have never seen one of these . I have no ideal what it is . When I saw it walking on land it walked like a Penguin , however I know that is not what this bird is . Then I thought maybe it was one of those "Mudhens" I call an ungly duckling but there was one nearby and similar but color totally different and feet were different . This thing had hugh feet and one image you see it walking it really had to pick those babies up to move . And least but last it had a long weird curved neck and head . What ever it is it's not from around here in W.Tex that I know of . So any help with ID would be mostly appreciated . This thing reminded me of E.T. from the movie E.T.
