Brass Fastener and an Inflation Needle

I have no idea why I had the sudden urge to photograph these two objects, and they probably aren't nearly as sharp as they could be because I didn't set them up as well as I could (light, tripod, etc.).

I used extension tubes and a 24-105 on my 6D.

The first is a brass fastener (I forget what these are called) that may or may not actually be brass.

The second is an inflation needle for basketballs, etc.

Like them - Something a bit different !
