This drought is going to be killer this summer... Most of that water is from the rainstorms that hit Yosemite. I camped there last week (which is when I took the second photo). It had rained I believe Friday-Sunday, and Sunday night was terrible with rain. Crazy downpours, thunder, lightning. I believe the Valley got 3" of rain which was nice, minus some flooding. Tent held up though which was nice.
